She has been providing legal support to reputable insurance companies since 2004. She is one of few experts in the country with such extensive experience in the field of insurance law.
She currently works together with several insurers, in particular with the number two on the Polish market, i.e. TUiR Warta S.A. For 12 years, she was employed at InterRisk Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń Spółka Akcyjna Vienna Insurance Group. Earlier, in the years 2004-2009, she provided legal services to Sopockie Towarzystwo Ubezpieczeń ERGO Hestia.
She specialises in the area of property and motor insurance. She is an authority on financial insurance and insurance related to construction risks (third party liability for construction and installation risks). She was involved in the handling of contracts executed on the basis of FIDIC standards, including the largest implementation projects of this type in Poland related to sewage and water supply infrastructure, amounting to hundreds of millions of PLN, and conducted by the world’s leading construction companies. She has been working with Strażeccy, Jaliński i Wspólnicy law firm since its inception. As part of the firm, she has built and manages a team for traffic-related cases, which handles around 2,000 lawsuits. She periodically trains the insurers’ loss adjustment services in the field of insurance law.
Anna Piorun-Wilczek has been one of the partners of the law firm since 2021. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Privately, she is passionate about animals, travelling and automotive industry.
